I like the way you've done the triptych with this. Very nice. This image strikes me as one that would be striking with a high contrast b&W..... ?? I dunno if you like B&W.
tim hitchins: well thats funny you should mention that Dawn as i have just down loaded a tutorial for high contrast b&w. Hmmm will give it a go, and yes i love b&w just don't seem to be able to master the processing side of it, but i will get therecheers Dawn
Unusual presentation Tim. I thought it was a view through a window from the thumbnail! What a view that would be.
Ingrid
tim hitchins: i was just looking through some tutorials Ingid when i came across this one so thought i would have ago, took me about an hour but i am glad i did it Have a nice day Ingrid
This should be blown up to a really large size, printed onto proper canvas, and hung in an exhibition room or somewhere special.
What a wonderful visual piece. You are a clever little cock bird, Tim, this is superb
tim hitchins: ha, nice to know you think so Paul, the image needed a bit more work on it to be honest, slightly blown top left, but after getting so far into this twiddle it was to late to alter it, and after spending an hour doing it wasn't going to start again lol. Glad i did it though, think its a great way to present images, most appreciated Paul and enjoy your day
Absolutely wonderful photo of a beautiful place and I would love to be there right this moment. Your photos never cease to amaze me. If you and Floog(Paul)do figure out how to get this one blown up and on canvas, I'll gladly display it in my home or office at work(smiling).
Nice composition that highlights this beautiful coast! Good work, Tim.
With what program you working?
tim hitchins: most appreciated Fabrice and i use cs2 my friend must say it took me a while but then i feel it was worth it would like to print something like this given the right scene
I could stare at this all day, but I've got to rush Brilliant composition and colour tones. But it's the framing that nails it for me. Really Noice Tim, really Noice.
tim hitchins: lol well if i win the lottery i shall get them framed and send you it and thank you very much.
I love the way you have worked this triptych. The image is very beautiful, too. You couldn`t possibly send me a link to the tutorial could you? (:o)
tim hitchins: i think you could come up with some stunning triptych's Rosalyn from some of your excellent archives would love to see it when you do one Rosalyn
Wow, great! Pretty original presentation. Seems like dramatic weather on the image.
tim hitchins: well cheers Paul, i feel its was worth while having ago at this and might try another given the right scene, and yes there had just been a storm out to sea when i took this m8
