I like this one a lot also. Good choice going wide screen. Gives you a good sense of the space. The orange/gold tones are soothing. Very peaceful.
Really like your work
tim hitchins: thank you so much Darren for your kind words really do appreciate those words, thanks
Simply a great image! The gold and orange make this so warm, and with the water so still it creates a very tranquil shot. Nice one!!

A bit on the red side but this works for me: very pleasing!

a wonderful silent and peaceful atmosphere, I especially like the silhouettes of the branches, the forest around the lake, the reed...in the soft-warm-gold evening light, the nature seems to be quite alone with 'her'self, nobody disturbs these moments, and happy may be the man who can take part in this harmony ...
tim hitchins: well i sure was Philine, and may i say you have a lovely way with words....tim
Well if this is the result I'll have what ever you were drinking
tim hitchins: lol, believe me Aussie 2 pints and i am wobbling these days, have you seen the horizon lol, most appreciated

Oh, sorry, I imagined a view of sunset, but it was a wonderful morning -"view of sunrise"! Now I'm thinking: There must be a difference in the light and mood, but my feeling says: No -or you have to look more precisely!
tim hitchins: don't you apologise Philine you must have come back for a second look for which i am very grateful, your comments are wonderful and most appreciated
Amazing light, Tim! I love the warm tones...whatever processing you did certainly worked magic
tim hitchins: thank you so much deb, really happy you thought that
Simply lovely exposure. I like the slight blow out of highlights on the water surface - it's one of the few situations when blown highlights actually add to the scene!
tim hitchins: having seen some of the technical remarks you make Duane i will take that as a big positive remark
Beautiful shot and I love the mood your processing gives.
tim hitchins: thank you so much Laura, so happy you thought that
