tim hitchins: well i wouldn't have got a bet on that happening would i Chris
Awww! richard
tim hitchins: who said romance was dead eh bless him, though he had a funny look on his face as he walked by,
Xtra special. Great on composition and that matching frame is creative.
tim hitchins: wasn't it just Louis, could not believe it but so happy to capture it for them, took his email addy and forwarded them to him
I had no idea you had managed to capture the scene like this! So up close and them silhouetted against the stormy sky... PERFECT! Absolutely amazing, congratulations! I'm sure they'd buy this photo from you - I know I would if I were her
tim hitchins: oh yes Carla couldn't hear a word for the wind which was blowing a gale but i was so glad i took the gamble to photo the scene, if she had said no he might have thrown me and the camera off the cliff
What a bit of luck you were there with your camera to capture the moment. I expect he was gasping the words after climbing up there! It makes a good shot anyway, especially silhouetted against the dramatic sky.
Ingrid
tim hitchins: im sure he was Ingrid its a bit of a climb to get to the top, after seeing them never in my dreams would i have expected that to happen
I hope you got their address to send them a copy!
tim hitchins: yes Paul he left it stuck to the windscreen and was very thankful for the few snaps i took
LOL good job she said yes, I had vision's of one of them going over the cliff edge!!
Well captured you old romantic you!!
tim hitchins: lol wasn't it just Tracy, of all the days to choose, a wet and windy day and a man with a bloody camera on top of the hill
You captured a wonderful spontaneous moment here Tim. It would a precious picture for Lee and his other half to have! Well done.
tim hitchins: yes Richard i really wasn't sure weather to take any but i am glad i did, most appreciated
Nice capture Tim and a precious moment.
tim hitchins: Thank you Padraig
Wow... at first I thought it was set up but after reading your commentary it's a great spontaneous shot! Really works well...
tim hitchins: i know Mark it would be easy to believe it was set up but it certainly wasn't the thing that pleased me the most was that i reacted quickly enough to compose the shot and didn't miss the opportunity to catch a special moment, cheers Mark
Impressive photo.Hope it all happens for them
tim hitchins: yes so do i vintage m8

A very important moment for them, I hope that they see this. mal
tim hitchins: lol, well i emailed him to tell him so i will be surprised if he doesn't have a look
perfect!
tim hitchins: CHEERS TINA
It's a cracking pic of a cracking moment, like the sillhoette, makes things a bit more unusual in the circumstances.
tim hitchins: most appreciated Nigel, on the original you can clearly see Lee's face and even though he had said it was fine to put it up i turned up the contrast a tad to silhouette him to give him some anonymity not sure he will be happy with that but thats the way i thought best
What a beautiful image. You may never get the same chance again .. just one shutter chance here Tim. Lovely work. John
tim hitchins: well i managed 4 John, its hard to say just how much i was amazed at was so quickly unfolded before me, what with the wind blowing a gale it just seemed surreal and i wasn't sure how he would react if he saw me taking pics of which is a very intimate moment but thought what the hell i can delete em if he kicks off
What an amusing story Tim, let them have a copy if you know where they live.
tim hitchins: i have been in touch Brian he gave me his email addy and forwarded the shots i took he was very thankful

cool..supercool..and very romantic.. great one... cheers
tim hitchins: most appreciated Hemant and have a good day
I think its a great way to propose. Take her on top of the cliff and say "Say yes, or down you go!"
Great moment to capture Tim. I think they will treasure this photo for ever!
tim hitchins: lol nice one Radel
Very beautifull shot, Tim. The frame ... Superb.
tim hitchins: thank you so much Fabrice, have a nice day
What a beautiful place for a proposal !!! She could only say YES !!! My husband asked me at the bottom of a swimming pool slide ... Another unsusual place !!!
tim hitchins: most appreciated Ann, and yes i guess if your hubby was at the bottom you could say he caught a fine catch
Hi Tim, It's Lee, the guy on the rock!
Both Nichola and I are so very grateful to you for capturing this very special moment for us. Everyone that we've told can't beleive that I didn't set it up. Don't worry about silhoueting us, I was thinking of doing the same in photoshop ;-) I will also be joining this site to show you some of my work. I know you are very talented at land/skyscapes, but how are you at wedding photography?
tim hitchins: thank you Lee for your comment as i am sure some peeps will have been thinking too that it was set up the circumstances were bizarre to say the least, will be looking forward to seeing your work too with interest, as for wedding photography lol, well i am doing some friends weddings this year so we will see
Talk about being in the right place at the right time! Who would have guess that you would have come back with this photograph. It is a wonderful moment, and I hope you will be sending them a copy. (:o)
tim hitchins: oh i did Rozalyn, he left his email addy on my windscreen, and yes i would have to say the chances of that happening must be a million to one
You captured an intimately special moment for them.. lucky couple
tim hitchins: yes i think i did Gayathri for sure
Wow! Reality is stranger than life. Love the shot..Very romantic!
tim hitchins: it sure was something that you could easy think it was set up but i can e sure you it was purely by chance that we both choose to go up there on that wet and windy day
Beautiful moment nicely captured, Tim!
tim hitchins: thank you so much Kay
Wow, Tim talk about in the right place at the right time and with the camera in your hand. Nice capture, I can see they would be pleased to have some photos to record the event
tim hitchins: cheers Aussie, yes i would forgive anyone for believing this was set up the odds on me been their that afternoon were remote, it was only the fact we had been rained off at work that i even thought of going to the rocks, and to capture that was really special
This is wonderful thing.., and you caught that special moment on camera! Well done Tim!! Chantal
I'm glad they were pleased to have a photographer to hand and not dismayed. Compositionally it's a great moment.
tim hitchins: thank you so much, thats the bit that pleased me so much about the shot having only secs to sum the scene up i positioned them to the left for a better composition, so i was well chuffed when i saw the outcome
Cool - beeing in the right spot at the right time is one thing, to remember to bring the camera is another
tim hitchins: lol, i wouldn't have gone up those rocks without it m8 but this was a real shock i can tell you
What a sweet, romantic silhouette.
tim hitchins: cheers Jewlya
Wow, this capture couldn't have happened to a nicer guy.
I suppose Lee was lucky too ;-) Beautiful narrative and photography Tim!
tim hitchins: ha well thank you very much for the compliment Kevin, yes we were both lucky for sure him coming to propose that day of all days and me been there, well you just couldn't get odds on that
beautiful lightenings in this picture, completed by the situation, a magic instant, could seems the sun will come back from far away very soon in back plan. very nice photo Tim!
Talk about being in the right place at the right time! Congratulations on this capture - it is wonderful!
