Just can't make my mind up on this image Tim its the amount of blue sky above the sunset red. I'm thinking along the lines of a landscae version somehow. Image is well captured and the girl could be in deep thought. The telegraph poles may be worth cloning out maybe but these are just a personel thing ( i dislike them )I can see where you are coming from thow well done.
tim hitchins: well i love your thoughts on this
I like this one Tim. It reminds me of how small we are in comparison to the world (and sky) around us!
tim hitchins: thats what i like too martie i was going to call it lost in space lol
Nice shot Tim. I like that she is sitting right in the corner. She seems contemplating the beauties of the world!
tim hitchins: most appreciated Richard, well if she wasn't she should have been
This is excellent Tim. I like the composition and the colour of the sky is amazing.
Have a good weekend
tim hitchins: cheers Bill and you too, yes this was about half an hour after the sun had gone down, great time to be about so peaceful
Tim I Love it
tim hitchins: thank you kindly
I'd leave it exactly as it is ... Whatever we think about telegraph poles they are there in our world ... and they most certainly don't upset the feel of this image of introspection.
richard
tim hitchins: i had to look that word up lol, cheers Richard great word appreciated
I agree with Richard - leave the poles in. They don't detract from the image and as he says, they are there. Why should we have to prettify everything? I like the composition for the very reasons you stated.
Ingrid
tim hitchins: cheers Ingrid yes i like the sense of her been lost in space so to speak, the poles never even entered my thoughts
Thanks for repy tim. I understand it much better now it does make us understand how small we are. As for the poles I think it goes ack to sitting listening to judges at camara clubs moaning on and on about them and I have been brain washed.
tim hitchins: lol cheers
I really love this photo, Tim. The colors are beautiful. I might have cropped a bit of the sky off though.
tim hitchins: thanks Helen, i feel the sense of space works well with the scene but your thoughts are always appreciated
Heavenly Tim
tim hitchins: thank you kindly Tracy and i hope your enjoying the sunshine
Nice composition and contemplative profile set against a stunning sky.
It's very peaceful..and thought-provoking.
tim hitchins: well thank you so much Marcia, most appreciated
I like this, good use of a silhouette and it's a human figure. Not too much dark area. Most sunsets seem to lack the silhouette and have too much dark foreground. A good commercial image where there is plenty of space for text to be dropped in.
tim hitchins: ha well i am really happy with your thoughts on this Nathen, most welcome matey
I really like this, the composition and the amount of sky. it certainly adds a sense of scale.
tim hitchins: cheers padraig, yes thats what i was trying to get across, was going to call it lost in space lol, it was fri night after a few beers lol.
Fine image Tim
tim hitchins: cheers Chris

xx
tim hitchins: most appreciated Monika and have a goodnight
Good as it stands. I could see it as a greetings card with a 'thinking of you' message.
Very interesting Tim: the blue of that sky is amazing
Great composition. Blue sky is just perfect.
Great composition, I like the atmospher here.
Tim, this is beautiful. I love the colours with the range from the dark purple, the reds and oranges, the light and dark blues.. wonderful! I like positioning of the girl as well.
Hmm, it's a nice, almost optimistic picture. I like it.
I'm there, contemplative, reflective, tranquil, at peace with my life.
A wonderful photograph
tim hitchins: cheers Paul most appreciated and valued
Very colorful! Love the silhouette. This image tells a story!
tim hitchins: most appreciated Nadine
i agree with our explanation of leaving the sky as composed. Its expansive and makes one look around. Great colours from the artists brush with the pink streaks
did you do some post work on the shadows? there is a slight halo around the silhouette?
tim hitchins: well noticed Liam, and one which i will look out for in the future most appreciated matey
That is an impressive sky - I like the amount of sky included - and the poles are fine with me...
tim hitchins: thanks Aksel, love your thoughts m8, cheers
