The colors of the water highlighted by the light and shadows against the details of those bricks in the wall are so so lovely. The spray is icing on the cake.

Some is off with the perspective/horizon, but Tim, I can't for the life of me tell you how to fix it, although I recall a discussion related to that on Roz's blog (a while ago).
tim hitchins: really appreciate your view Kathryn and yes i will have a look into that as yes i can see what your saying, have a lovely day smile

Slow speed used to really good effect Tim...I think you might need more than a brollie this weekend!

"To the sky spurts the foam in steam-laden wreaths,
And wave presses hard upon wave without end.
And the ocean will never exhausted be,
As if striving to bring forth another sea." (from:Schiller, The diver)

I can hear the sea roaring, what an uproar of the wild waves! - I love to stand at this time at the coast...
tim hitchins: oh yes Philine you would have been most impressed with the surf that day, really brought it home to me the power of the ocean.

Your thoughts and words are very much appreciated Philine, have a nice day.
Oh superb. Well captured. smile
tim hitchins: cheers Patsmile

The effect is awesome! I love it. Colors are great too. I have the impression that your tripod was not setup fully straight, besides that: super.
tim hitchins: hmmm yes the horizon does look a bit wonky but i feel its just the way the land runs away at a angle that gives it that perspective not sure but cheers anyway Paul.
