Convinced you must have a second job as a security guard! I know how they hate you taking pictures of the shops in case you are planning a ram raid! Lovely quality of light on the balcony.

Wonderful image. Although I don't like shopping, I wouldn't mind strolling around this place just to take in the decor. I would very much like it to be this empty during my visit, too.
tim hitchins: there,s a wee side door that i will let you know about if you ever come over here just wait for the cleaners to finish lolgrin cheers smile

Did you break in? Where is everyone? For someone (me) who shoots lots in portrait format, it's nice to see your excellent compositions working in landscape format. There's also so much detail to drink in here (great front to back sharpness)...Cool stuff.
tim hitchins: lol not sure Harv, we were well surprised to find this completely empty mate but happy too, cheers Harv and enjoy your daysmile
This is wonderful. Colours and clarity are amazing!
tim hitchins: cheers Richard.
I just love the way you have captured that roof and the ironwork supporting it, and all the ornateness of the tops of the buildings. The roof etc. is beautiful. The shop facades are not bad either. Such a pity that people have to spoil such scenes.
tim hitchins: oh its a beautiful shopping mall Sheila, the people behind it with all there money have spent it wisely in my opinion, just a shAME ITS A TAD EXPENSIVEsmile cheers Sheila.

When did you taken this pic- on sunday when nobody is allowed to go shopping? An impressive mall indeed- these are the modern cathedrals of our consumption world- for a lot of people shopping is a kind of happiness, even if they are only peeping into the shopping windows. But I need another and more 'food' for my eyes and my heart!
tim hitchins: it was a Sunday Philine late on, we just wondered in and found it completely empty which i was most surprised about, window shopping is about the only thing i could afford to do in here, apart from taking photo's that isgrin

we have in German a term for such a luxury mall: "Konsumtempel" (temple of consumption)! Do live in Leeds a lot of rich people who can buy here their clothings..? I don't assume that we find here cheap- chains-shops!

This is so good Mr H, it should appear professionally on the internet as an advert for this mall.

I'd love a floor like that, but I think my cats would be sliding all over the place ha ha smile
tim hitchins: ha yes the cleaners looked liked they had done there job and gone too, forgetting to lock the door on the way outgrin
