Dreamlike, a swirling mass of surreal machinery and architecture.

A very beautiful, haunting effect, Mr H smile
tim hitchins: yes i find it hard to try make these places look dark and ugly, but i think i will try to do just that soon we will see. Enjoy your day Paul, Yorkshire Dales for me and a day with the falconssmile

Ferrybridge looks like in some sort of fairytale. Like the soft colors here. Beautiful image!

Once again another of your excellent night shots Tim, and a great, but different angle, than before.
tim hitchins: yes Brian i missed this view point on the last visit, some steps that led down to the side of the river, so glad i came across them this time for sure. Most appreciated matey.

I' m speechless- considering this beauty of industrial environment! -never thought before that this could be so impressive- the lines, the reflections, the tranquillity...at all! Our industrial landscapes at night in the 'Ruhrgebiet" are also fascinating (oooh, I supposely can't shut my mouth!).
tim hitchins: speechless Philine well that would be a firstgrin yes i do find it hard to show these places as ugly which most people find them, luckily i found this great view point which with the river and trees make for a great contrast with the power station. So glad you liked it and don't worry about talking too muchsmile enjoy your weekend Philine.

I think this is great! Was it really a 161 second shutter?
tim hitchins: it sure was Travis, looks bright but we really did need those torches that we took with us especially to see the settings on the camera. Most appreciated and so glad you liked it Travissmile
I missed this earlier ...this is a terrific night shot .How did you avoid the security guys...;-)
tim hitchins: well thankfully we were on the other side of the river bank, i certainly wouldn't have wanted to see some burly bloke walking down the tow path lol, cheers Richardsmile
tim hitchins: so happy you think that Sheila, enjoy your daysmile
