Ferrybridge

Its hard to imaging looking at this scene that you could hear a pin drop literally , so much so that when a iron gate opened beneath were i was standing to release all this boiling water  into the river  you could have heard  the air turn blue back in Leeds lol:)

Amazing to see this scene lit up like this at night, as we usually only catch a glimpse of cooling towers as we rush past in the car. Were you inside the complex? Super photo, Tim
Ingrid
tim hitchins: i have a few more Ingrid so i am glad you like them lol, for this one i was on the tow path that runs along side this place, bit bloody scary walking along there at night i can tell you. Most appreciated Ingrid.
It is not my favorite landscape, but it is a magnificent photo
tim hitchins: no Girona during the day they do come over as ugly brutes but at night boy are they fantastic places to walk round and photograph, most appreciatedsmile

Great night shot Tim and I like the b&w conversion. It shows the lighting up very well along with the steam.smile
I love all your power station photos that I have seen. Each new one is called "the best" taking over the honour from the previous one. This has the gold medal today.
tim hitchins: the gold medal Sheila lol well thats a new one but i will take it lol cheers grin
Absolutly fantastic Tim. I like the softness of the image!
Fabulous image Tim and works really well converted. I wish I had taken it to be honest.

My second favourite power station (Agecroft is #1 for sentimental reasons).

Th inclusion of the building on the left with the lit windows is the killer touch. Transforms the image into something quite surreal. A likey for me - and believe me I don't do that often ;o)
Trust Blackdog to have favourite power stations! This is a cracking picture though Tim
Well, I really like your shots from this environment Tim.

I like the way the lighting has picked up the power lines in places. You can never consider these palces beautiful but your shot makes it look very special.

Your words made me chuckle!

It's a darned good picture, with a strange effect though, parts of it seem almost 3D, others almost flat
