21st century living.

as much as i like the image i couldn't help but think "would i wont to live in there" would you?
Umm, it looks OK-ish from the outside, actually, it's a very nice picture.
But I can't imagine it would be very nice to live there. No outside space at all, is there?
tim hitchins: no there isn't Ellie and one of the roughest estates in Leeds just a stone throw away, i certainly wouldn't wont to live here for sure
Like all other things it will depend on how much I can afford. Personally I prefer some outside space.
Excellent picture in many ways - especially the blue and yellow highlights provided from some windows. The reflection changing hue from bottom to top also contributes a lot with the sharpness.
tim hitchins: most appreciated Louis and yes i would prefer the country side any day of the week.
Some people will love to live here, we cannot live all 'in the country' like I do, this is a very great capture of modern times, great crop, great colours.
tim hitchins: most appreciated Astrid glad you liked it
Excellent shot Tim. I like the patterns repetition and the subtle reflections!
Should I have the choice, I wouldn't live there.
tim hitchins: no me neither Richard and have a good day
I live in the country Tim, but hanker after a city bolthole from time to time - this would do nicely ;o)
Lovely mosaic of colours - you are certainly a night owl ;o)
tim hitchins: lol cheers Mike, the estate that this apartment block looks out onto happens to be one of the roughest in Leeds so maybe this wouldn't be the ideal choice Mike.
The shot has the wow factor for me Tim, but as for living in such a place it's a positive NO. The country has my heart and there's no way I could live in a built up area
tim hitchins: and a wow from me for that Tracy and yes give me the country side any day
This definitely is a mosaic, Tim, and is that a reflection of the cityscape as well?
tim hitchins: ha, well i never looked at it like that Ginnie, yes the reflection is of some of the city suburbs, cheers and have a nice day
Looks like a heated solar panel in space. No.. I'd avoid living there as much as I can.
tim hitchins: ha yes nice perspective Radel
An excellent capture, I'm surprised you didn't arrange a pattern or a word with the windows with lights on
tim hitchins: lol cheers Nigel and have a good night m8
I like this the colours are amazing
tim hitchins: most appreciated vintage
Good lightening, Tim...I really really like this. You know, I'm not so lucky to take good pics at night. Any tips?
tim hitchins: cheers kavita, tips well just make sure you have a big recycle bin like me
Great picture, but you are right I wouldn't want to live there!
tim hitchins: me too Bill not with the Burmintoffs one of the roughest estates in Leeds just over the road
Oh now that's just a knockout. Well done!
tim hitchins: well cheers mate really happy you thought that, just came across this when taken the light trails from the cars on the a64, it just stood out from everything around it
Lovely colours in a very striking picture. Visitors couldn't misunderstand directions could they?
tim hitchins: well thank you so much Sheila, well if you ended up in the nearby estate and asked for directions they would probable take your car off you
This remind me of some abstract art by Mondrian...
It also reminds me of a song that Pete Seeger used to sing about '' ... and they all lived in little boxes and they all looked just the same.'' Good one tim. richard
tim hitchins: well you have me stuck on both counts there Richard but will investigate, but yes i think that is exactly as you would see it, most appreciated mate
Well it is certainly an interesting shot.
tim hitchins: thanks Urv, yes it does look interesting doesn't it but i still would not want to live there
i like this for its colours and the way its on two levels, a very graphic initial look then a more natural looks comes when you start to study the reflection.
tim hitchins: well i like your thoughts on it Padraig
I don't know but the reflect is superb !!
Another good shot, Tim.
tim hitchins: most appreciated Fabrice
Good capture Tim, apart from the natural lighting it would no doubt look different every day depending on who is at home with the lights on.
This just doesn't look real, does it? I don't think I would want to live here, but it makes a great image!
Ingrid
Wow - stunning Tim. Love the arrangement of the various colored windows.
Beautiful light.
nice view. like tiles
tim hitchins: ha well i like your view on that scene for sure cheers
You give a magic touch to this building. Even the trees just in front made the lights dancing
tim hitchins: nice thoughts France, your the only person to mention the tree's which is the bit i like the most, cheers and have a lovely weekend
lets throw stones
No, I would not live there....but it's still a great pic. I like the colours, reflections, the trees and strong composition
