Very dramatic Tim: I like the idea of this elevated path leading out to a lonely headland

very good Tim, love the way the sun is coming through the rain bank and shining on the ocean and headland
I see your a B/W man smile Seems like a storm back there in the clouds. Good composition.
This looks like the road at the end of the earth! A fine storm is brewing too - highly dramatic. Love it.

This is good Tim. The headland reaching out into the shot combined with the clarity makes a perfect foil for the dramatic rain clouds.

I love this rough sea-and skyscape and the feel of absolute solitude! Ingrid has summed all up- rain-wind or storm-sun- all seem to come together and always to change! What a difference to the lovely- idyllic South England with some mediterrenean flair!

While looking at your nature pics I remember some poems of "Ossian" we read, translated in German, in Goethe's novel " Werther's sorrows": "We are in the land of strangers, in the land of cruel Cairbar. The winds have deceived us, Dar-thula. Erin lifts here her hills. Go towards the north, Althos: be thy steps, Ardan, along the coast; that the foe may not come in darkness, and our hopes of Etha fail. I will go towards that mossy tower, to see who dwells about the beam. Rest, Dar-thula, on the shore! rest in peace, thou lovely light! the sword of Nathos is around thee, like the lightning of heaven!"
Hmmm when are we going to see a rough sea from you tim rather than these delightful mirror flat ones ha ha ! Excellnt messing about as usual. richard
This creates a fabulous mood Tim

i really like this. the rain cloud looks just like the one i was driving into the other day, didn't have my camera sadly. i love the little details in the foreground, the black seed pods i think they are. how long is the walk to the end? at first you think it's close, but probably further than you think?
