Leeds Bridge

really liked the color version of this and having just had a paint job looked lovely but to my amazement they have painted it red must have been a Man utd fan
I like this too!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What a good shot!
tim hitchins: cheers Kavita
beautiful night shot, and wonderfully captured, how is the premier league going? you are definitely not a ManU fan
tim hitchins: cheers Patrick, well we are not in it so who cares
Tim, I really like this one--the crispness of the bridge and lights at the top and the way the lights in the water fade into a haziness in the foreground. It also as if I am looking into the past
tim hitchins: it would have been nice to have taken this 10 years ago and compare the two as there wouldn't have been any distracting buildings behind the bridge now that would have looked better for me
Lovely Tim, I love your conversion as I am not a Man U fan either!!!
The detail is wicked keep um coming
tim hitchins: lol good me neither and most appreciated Tracy
This is good in Black and white but I like colour
tim hitchins: well maybe i will show the color one soon
The water looks like ice, I guess because of a long exposure? Nice shot.
tim hitchins: cheers m8 and have a nice weekend
This night shot is beautiful in B&W. Great lights reflections and bridge's details. I like the tones!
tim hitchins: thank you kindly Richard
Excellent night sho-o-o-o-o-t converted to b&w. The icy look of the water is great as well. Crisp picture.
tim hitchins: cheers Louis most appreciated as always
Impressive, great one, love the B&W, that bridge, those lights, the reflections, Tim I have the modest idea we should work together.....
tim hitchins: i would love too Astrid
Makes a great b&w image Tim. As if things weren't bad enough for Leeds, painting the bridge in Man U colours is cruel
tim hitchins: lol yes it sure was Bill it has been wrapped up in tarpaulin for some time while they painted it, was really excited when i had seen it was down, blow me...RED.. couldn't believe it, I am sure our rose is white
Nice smooth water, not too much noise for 49seconds!
tim hitchins: cheers Nig yes some one else mentioned noise or lack of it, maybe its just down to the quality of the 350d who knows not me
This is a very crisp night shot. Shame they had to put those ugly buildings there to spoil the line of the bridge.
Ingrid
tim hitchins: yes your quite right Ingrid maybe i shall see how long it takes to clone em out
Superb image- lovely exposure and just the right crop. Come on you Reds!
tim hitchins: lol yes it looks like your title
Tim - this is FANTASTIC! I love the clarity of that bridge. WOW!!!
tim hitchins: woah thats a big compliment coming from you martie, most appreciated and have a good day
Excellent crisp night shot Tim.
Have a great weekend.
tim hitchins: well its raining again
In B&W, I've a feeling that the water is freeze ...
Very nice shot, Tim.
tim hitchins: yes it does kind of look like that and i shall be thinking about that the next time i do some night shots with water involved
Serene shot tim, and like the quietness of the black and white.
tim hitchins: thank you kindly Mick really appreciated m8
Ingrid is right about the ugly central block ...I've got a couple of sticks of dynamite ...
tim hitchins: i know Richard a few years ago that wouldn't have been their, shame i wasn't carrying me camera around then
I hadn't noticed the central block until others referred to it Tim. Without it there might be a bit of a large empty space. Good composition and exposure though.
tim hitchins: yes its a shame about all the buildings but thats the price we pay for so called progress i guess, cheers Brian.
I like the tones!
tim hitchins: cheers Martin your comments are always valued friend
That's a beautiful looking conversion
tim hitchins: most appreciated stephen
This works very well Tim
tim hitchins: thank you Chris and have a nice day
I like this a lot - the sharpness and light to the right in the pic, the pavement is very nice - it's almost like taken out of an old movie...Willl there come a detective or someone singing a song maybe...
tim hitchins: and i am so happy you do Aksel m8, i see were your coming from with your observation and yes i have to agree, cheers
LOL at Vintage he just can't grasp anything not in colour.
This is a fantastic night shot Tim and I love the B&W
tim hitchins: lol your quite right there Aussie, most appreciated and have a nice day
Great B&W. I like how it is almost evenly exposed capturing a lot of detail for a nightshot. Well done Tim.
tim hitchins: its not often i think about conversion's but i was happy with the result when i tried it with this one, cheers Radel
Beautiful depth and shimmering light.
I agree with the old movie reference above too!
tim hitchins: most appreciated Kevin as always m8
