The black background gives it a great contrast and makes it even better. Yes I'm slightly mystified abt the background too.. surely you didn't make a cutout.. that could have taken ages. Unless the original bg was an even colour you could select mm.. don't know

with regards to the black background its was while having a few beers watching rugby that i stumbled upon this effect

Love the deatil in this, Tim. those 5 or 6 curving features parallel to each other is fantastic - well, as are the otehrs! What size lens did you use?
