a short break in the weather was a relieve at the time but as you can see it didn't last long
This is good! The dark foreground frames the shot nicely.
tim hitchins: thanks Martin, yes i liked the way the dark rocks framed the scene too
Your image conveys the mood of the conditions - I also really like the bright reflection of the wet road!
tim hitchins: cheers Kevin most appreciated m8
Excellent - the way you are using light is inspiring for some time now.
tim hitchins: thats a big thankyou coming your way Louis
I love the way the sunlit plain is framed by the rocks in the foreground and the dark brooding clouds. Very good.
Ingrid
tim hitchins: thanks Ingrid always appreciated
This is just excellent. Perfect use of the light here!
tim hitchins: Merci Richard, your comments always appreciated and have a goodnight
This is another absolute belter Tim. Superb use of the light
tim hitchins: thank you so much Bill or should we call you Mr Hendrix
Great lighting. Love the foreground rocks and the reflections off the road.
tim hitchins: cheers most appreciated
You have certainly caught and created a powerful feel of these gritstone landscapes. richard
tim hitchins: thank you Richard i am so pleased with the shots i managed to capture that afternoon, would have been gutted if i hadn't got anything decent after getting so wet and cold
What a dreamy shot! I really like the darkness of the foreground and the brilliant light in the sky.
tim hitchins: ha it might look dreamy but it certainly didn't feel like it
I am just learning about lighting etc...but I can see that this is an excellent shot. Well done!
tim hitchins: me too stephen i just thought with a mixture of shower clouds and the sun popping out between em i might get something of interest, think i was right
Tim I love the stormy atmosphere in this shot, the use of light is amazing, showing the sheen on the wet road and the rocks. The dark cloud is almost like a shelter.
Lovely.
tim hitchins: ha it didn't feel much like one Tracy it was a bit like a power shower at times
I like, Tim! A loaded image of mystery!
tim hitchins: thank you Jose really appreciate your thoughts on that and i can see were your coming from with that comment
Fabulous shot, love the dark weather.....that little sunshine makes this picture.
tim hitchins: most appreciated Astrid and have a nice day 2mo
Really like this.
tim hitchins: thank you kindly fella
Fantastic lighting Tim
tim hitchins: thank you Aussie and have a great day
A new time : good shot, Tim.
Really like this one.
tim hitchins: cheers Fabrice
I like the way your composition has worked to make this a great shot, shooting against the sun can sometimes have soso results, but with the silhouette of the foreground this works really well, nicely framed!!
tim hitchins: thank you Patrick and yes tricky for sure probably explains why i have two recycle bins on me comp
really like this dad nice one
tim hitchins: cheers son
That looks a loooong way up Tim!
tim hitchins: not to far Chris but far enough to meet ones maker if you fell off
Typical of this English spring!
tim hitchins: English spring/summer/autumn and winter i think
This is Fabulase
tim hitchins: thanks vintage
I really like the soft glow of light on the rocks.
tim hitchins: glad you did Jewlya as thats the part i like the most
Beautiful. The fact that the sun is barely out here helps the composition. I wish I was bold enough to climb a few hills especially early hours.. with the way the weather is in these parts always worried about getting the camera soaked hehe I need to be braver!
tim hitchins: lol yes you do Radel, think most modern day camera's can take quite a battering from the elements its us humans that can't
You really have made excellent use of the light to give this most mysterious feeling to us today Tim.
tim hitchins: thank you brian, really value your thoughts on that one cheers m8
This is a great shot Tim, the thumbnail does it no favours at all. The light on the rocks in the foreground is just incredible. That with the brooding clouds really squeezes the landscape below making for a very powerful shot. Top drawer mate ;o)
tim hitchins: that is a very big compliment indeed coming from you Mick and one i value for sure, yes the ligt on those rocks is the bit i liked the most, i had to clone out a few rain drops but was well happy with this capture, you have a good day Mick
