The Cliff Face.
I had been looking at these cliffs for a day or so thinking i wonder what it might look like using the filter what with the sea lapping against them, so off i trotted along what turned out to be a well dodgy path so much so i nearly turned back, was rather happy that i didn't, hope you think it was worth it:)

Stunning, Tim. Jumped right out at me.
tim hitchins: thank you Mary
Sure was well worth it Tim. Stunning iamge great exposure to get the clouded water and cliffface spot on. I woud love a walk along there well done.
tim hitchins: you would need strong nerves Alan, at one point i was clinging to tree trunks with a 50 foot drop to one side lol, now thats daft isn't it
Very well done, Tim. What a beautiful photograph of a heavenly place.
tim hitchins: thanks so much Kathryn, was a wee bit of a grueling walk to get this advantage point but once i got there and saw the view i was not coming away without making sure i had got the exposure right, thanks to Mals tips it didn't take me too long and then it was the hike back to the tent and a well earned cup of tea
I think it was well worth it Tim. With Mal away you are doing an excellent job of filling the long exposure slot
tim hitchins: ha well i hope so
Tim thank you for getting this photo its wonderful.
tim hitchins: and i am so glad i did vintage and thanks mate
Wow Tim, superb image.

tim hitchins: and i am so happy you thought that cheers
Absolutely stunning Tim.
The water is magnificent, and the colours strong and vibrant. Glad you continued that path
tim hitchins: cheers Paul really makes the walk along that dodgy path worth it, most appreciated mate
Just completely beautiful and while very sharp, also dreamy in a way.
It was totally worth it!
tim hitchins: thank you so much Karima and as you say over there "have a nice day"
Lovely picture - you cansee every crack and contour in the cliff face. The dodgy path was worth it.
Where is this place?
tim hitchins: well i like to think it Sheila, it was on the east coast of Yorkshire just down from Reighton sands, we were camping for the first time and apart from the lack of sleep, the cold nights and the wind we had a great time lol,
Great shot Tim...well worth the effort, thanks for putting in all the effort. Have a cake!! :o) JOhn
tim hitchins: lol, John i will settle for a cuppa cheers
This was worth indeed Tim. The long exposure effect is remarkable! Great shot.
tim hitchins: thank you Richard and have a good night mate
Lovely work! I like the little hints of colour in the foreground from the flowers. the sea looks good also. I probably missed where this is.. will go back to see if your other images give me a clue.
tim hitchins: just down the road from Filey Alan, we were camping at Reighton sands which was windy to say the least, ripped tent on second night oh my that was a night to remember lol and thanks glad you liked it
Wow! Wonderful cliff!
tim hitchins: cheers Jose will email you shortly my friend
Stunning cliffs. I'm glad you made the effort. What filter was it. I've been wanting to experiment in this area myself
tim hitchins: hi m8 WILL email you shortly, its the B&W ten stopper will find you the tech details
C'est un endroit qui ressemble beaucoup à nos côtes normandes.
Very good perspective, Tim. I like the luminosity too.
tim hitchins: thank you Fabrice really appreciate your thoughts and have a nice day
Woth it, nice streaky sea.
tim hitchins: cheers Nigel glad you thought so
WOW..amazing...stunning..do I need to say more...a likey to me, love it, just love it
tim hitchins: well thank you Astrid so much, really do appreciate your praise for the image which i love too, will be looking back at this one and remembering what a great time we had for many a year
This is what landscape photography is all about, being able to see the minutest detail, in detail. I'm sure if I had the time I could count all the rocks on those cliffs.
The dreamy sea adds to the effect, not distracting, merely beautiful. Congratulations and, umm, a hint or two would be wonderful.
tim hitchins: thank you so much Ellie really appreciate your praise indeed, made that well dodgy walk worthwhile
Oh yes, this is Great Britain with the impressive rough cliffs! Many years ago I walked along the narrow cliff pathes and had while looking down so wonderful views of the sea! The water looked then wilder than here (after processing?).
tim hitchins: thank you so much Philine really happy you liked it and it reminds you of days gone by, as for the processing very little was done to it just a few tweaks here and there, the water effect was down to the long exposure
Very, very wonderful.
I'm stunning!
tim hitchins: well thank you so much baba, much appreciated
Excellent - one day I will start playing with filters - but right now I have to hold my head high to keep from drowning in the work.
I think you are on the verge of being declared a National Likey Site. Keep it up.
tim hitchins: lol nice one Louis, i just try me best, i know jack all about all the tech stuff but like you i feel we both know what looks like a good shot and if people like it well its a bonus in my book Louis so we should both keep up it, and don't be working to hard will you, have a great weekend..............tim
Well worth the trek Tim, it certainly looks a dodgy bit of coastline, although most of the Yorkshire coast is quite interesting.
tim hitchins: cheers Brian really happy to hear you say that matey
What a beautifull picture, i bet it was lovely sat looking at the cliffs.
tim hitchins: it certainly was johanna and it will not be long before i am looking at them again
Whats this competion for the beach shots.Nice one Tim.
tim hitchins: lol well who won Mick? cheers Matey.
beautiful, love the soft sea against the hard cliffs.
tim hitchins: cheers Padraig matey hope the weekend went well
Love this Tim.
The white in the cliffs contrasting with the green and colorful dappled flowers in the foreground. Are these the infamous 'white cliffs of Dover?'
tim hitchins: sorry Kevin no there not, these are on the east coast just down the road from Filey where we were camping, would love to have a go at capturing the white cliffs of Dover but its a 6-7 hour drive, not for me i am afraid.
Most appreciated mate
It was worth it
tim hitchins: thank you mate, glad you think that
