tim hitchins: good evening Kathryn so happy you liked it that much, i had gone there at the crack of dawn, got lost, trudged about a mile over farmers fields, missed the sunrise. so went back at night and was well happy i did, great structure and i hope i have done it justice

Lovely composition, and the smooth water effect from the 6s exposure really does it for me. The only disturbing thing might be the patch of blown highlights in the sky. Perhaps that will be a non-issue if converted into black and white?

tim hitchins: thanks so much Duane, yes blown skys are something i am hoping to over come, just got a cokin ND, heard they are not the best but finances are tight so will give it a go, hopefully you will be able to judge for yourself soon

This is an excellent picture with the long exposure and low angle. Excellent composition using the line of the viaduct.

As a bricklayer you know and I am amazed by the craftsmanship...very nic picture here, love the point of view and the misty look.

I like the low viewpoint - it makes the structure look even more impressive. The water has that fabulous milky look to it. Good stuff.

Whoa, this image has a very beautiful presence on the landscape! Love the soft blur of water flowing under it and that very moody sky adds a wonderful atmosphere.

I admire the technical knowledge and the craftmanship in order to build such a long viaduct(no Roman relicts?), this building is a decoration, an ornament for the landscape, and you have the classical beauty of the arches and the swinging horizontal/diagonal line of this viaduct which doesn't seem to end in a very beautiful way depictured, added by the soft reflections in the river and a cloudy sky with some tenderblue areas. I love the tranquil atmosphere in this pic - perhaps short before it will rain or a storm is coming up.
