this apartment block is to the side of the Royal Armories in Leeds which i will show next, judging the amount of lights not on they were either mostly out for the night or empty
Nice work with the light!
tim hitchins: cheers Martin, my longest exposure todate and i was happy with the result
Great reflection
tim hitchins: cheers vintage
A total WOWZER for me, Tim. Just wonderfully done.
tim hitchins: most appreciated Ginnie, it made the sunday night in the dark worthwhile to hear you say that, cheers.
A very beautiful urban reflection.
Bravo!
tim hitchins: thank you so much Remi.
Terrific capture Tim. Love the reflection
tim hitchins: cheers Aussie, what with all the bad weather we have had lately, getting out on a night is the only thing iv been able to do.
Picture perfect Tim words fail me
tim hitchins: lol, well thats nice to hear Tracy
I don't get a sense of a vibrant community here Tim. They'r e probably all buy-for-lets. I wonder if the bottom is about to drop out of the inner-city regeneration market? Accomplished photo though.
tim hitchins: oh yes Ian the bottom has fallen right out of the market for sure, Wimpy's have just pulled the plug on a massive job that was just about to start, the planners have a lot to answer for, they have given the go ahead to far to many apartment blocks and like this one they are standing half empty, it was about 9pm and it was like a ghost town, most appreciated Ian.
Great piece of work Tim.
tim hitchins: cheers Mick, have a good day
Tim M8, you should be working for the Leeds City councel, You make it look so good they should re-name it Leeds-vagas
tim hitchins: lol, nice one Mick yes i suppose with all the lights, only one problem...there was no one around m8 it was like a ghost town, strange.
This is an excellent shot Tim - perfect reflection.
tim hitchins: thank you very much Bernie, glad you thought that
They must have all gone to bed early. Excellent work tim. richard
tim hitchins: lol, maybe but it was only 9pm and we only saw about 5 people in the hour or so we were there, cheers Richard

tim hitchins: and hello Tina and greetings from Leeds
This is magnificent, love the lighting and the reflection, so sharp, I love it, a likey to me
tim hitchins: thank you Astrid all thats missing is your trademark on the top of that building
Perfect reflection, nice one
tim hitchins: many thanks Nigel
Excellent shot Tim, against all the (so-called) rules the central tower and reflection are in just the right place with the other buildings framing nicely either side. well done.
tim hitchins: i know, but then who makes the rules? and i have seen lots of great images that do just that so what the eck, if it looks good it is good in my book Brian, most appreciated m8 and have a nice day.
this is another fantastic night picture - bravo
Wonderful reflection and interesting architecture inthe centre- but where are the people? No restaurants, no pubs? I don't see anybody walking along the pool!
tim hitchins: nope there was very few people about Philine, its not actually a pool that you can swim in, its used for shows by the Royal Armories building, and no i think we saw 1 pub but no restaurants but it only a short walk into the town center so maybe thats the reason, have a good weekend Philine........tim
Perfect night photo, I love it! Beautiful control of the light, great effect on the reflections, too... Well done!
tim hitchins: thank you so much Carla and have a great weekend
I usually moan about pictures split in half like this. This one is the exception.
tim hitchins: ha, i did think about the half/half, but i just wanted to show the whole reflection Bill, have a good one m8.
nice lightning and colouring
tim hitchins: cheers m8, really appreciate your comment
Great symmetry. Nice job with the colors Tim. Looks like everyone's out. Was it the weekend?
tim hitchins: cheers Radel, yes it was a Sunday night personally i think most of the building is empty, there has been a explosion of building these apartment blocks in Leeds and most are struggling to sell them,
Love this picture. Great reflection and composition!
tim hitchins: thank you so much kavita, really appreciate your thoughts.
Beautiful reflection!
tim hitchins: thank you tetsu happy you thought that
WOW this is unbelievable Tim.
Very nice Tim - This could be in a magazine
tim hitchins: well thank you so much Aksel really happy you should think that, cheers and have a good weekend
Oh yes Tim: that is a fabulous urban nightscape - I wish I had taken it myself!
Oh! You need to license this image to the management of that building - lovely - and would look wonderful on their promotional material Tim!
I forgot to leave a comment when I dropped by yesterday Tim but this is an absolutely wonderful night shot of a cityscape and I've dropped this one into my likeys.

A very cool image Tim - great handling of the colour temperature.
A good series of nocturnal takings, Tim!

This is beautiful, such a wonderful glow. (:o)
Other comments say it all.
The lighting and composition are very good! Anyone who has tried low light photography will appreciate how difficult it can be to get such good results. Cheers, Rob
tim hitchins: most appreciated Rob, with me its a case of learning by my mistakes m8 and boy do i make em
