i would love to know were that light come from that circles the statues head came from
Yikes! That's clever.
Did you ever see the film The Signalman?
tim hitchins: no i haven't Ellie will have to look it up, and thank you kindly glad you liked it
wow
that face is really well placed
tim hitchins: most appreciated and have a great weekend, yes he looks quite menacing doesn't he
The ghost train! Yes that light that circles the head.. could it be a rain drop? There seems to be all sorts of debris flying around which adds to the effect.. Nice one again Tim.
tim hitchins: i am not sure Radel, it wasn't a rain drop maybe flare but it has added to the scene
This has rather a menacing air - into the jaws of hell! He looks like a gatekeeper.
Ingrid
tim hitchins: well i am so happy you thought that Ingrid most appreciated
Great speed effect !!! And what an atmosphere with the B&W !!!
tim hitchins: cheers Ann and have a nice weekend
I like this one even more than the other one... It is so spooky with the head above it in a kind off light-ball!!! Great effect!!
tim hitchins: most appreciated Chantal, i believe it was flare, but what a place for it too happen
Even better than your previous tunnel shot. The whole thing is very spooky, particularly the ghostly head and the ambiguous objects floating in the tunnel mouth.
tim hitchins: cheers Ian, really appreciate your thoughts on this one. It is really quite spooky down near the entrance you hear all sorts of noises i certainly wouldn't wont to walk through it, knowing how many people died building it.
Be careful! The ghost looks like the bard- feather in hand. You might get written on! Have a good one.
tim hitchins: you will have to tell me what bard-feather means jamoula, that said cheers mate and the same to you
This puts me in mind if the play Ghost Train, which I think was written by Arnold Ridley who played private Godfrey in Dad's Army
tim hitchins: lol yes your so right Bill, have a good day
Oh yes - that head gives this a very interesting spectre-like quality
tim hitchins: yes i think it does Chris, would like to know what the thoughts were behind placing a head there, might have a trawl about and see if i can find out.
Full speed ghost train! Great shot Tim.
tim hitchins: most appreciated Richard and have a good day
Swallowed not to be seen again...
Spellbinding train series, Tim.
tim hitchins: most appreciated Victor your comments are most valued and have a nice day
wonderfully powerful shot... scares the begeebees out of me !!! :o)
tim hitchins: cheers John, been down there close to the entrance it is quite eerie you hear all sorts of noises, must be the air shafts that are dotted along the tunnel carrying noises, and knowing the fact so many people dead in there it is quite spooky.
This is spooky! I like it a lot. Very well done!
tim hitchins: most appreciated Mark and have a good day
Erie! Must be the train to the nether-world! Nice effect Tim!
tim hitchins: thank you martie and have a nice day mate
Spooky...well worked image Tim
tim hitchins: cheers Chris happy you liked it
Very cool - love the visual communication of speed here.
You will certainly need the someone 'watching over' you, as per your title...if you get much closer to those mighty beasts! ;-)
Most unusual image Tim, I wonder where the apparent smoke comes from, unless it is dust kicked up by the suction effect of the train.
Superbe photo
tim hitchins: most appreciated Babylonezoo
Ghost train indeed tim, nice work
Gooddddddd, you lucky guy!
and yes like the other people said: it's spooky!
The stern look on the face, the silvery look of the ghost train. Scary but brilliant
the B&W make it cool...its spooky with the head!!
tim hitchins: yes the head makes the shot for me, i wonder why they put it there in the first place, has me wondering.
May be it's the Shakespeare's ghost asking you : Taking it or not taking it ...
brilliant shot tim. worthy of framing and a likey
