Oh that's great Tim: lovely light!
tim hitchins: cheers Chris yes i think my gamble to go down into the bay with the storm just round the corner payed off, have a nice day Chris
Is that you Tim?
Have a great weekend mate. Love it.
tim hitchins: sorry Ada it isn't "its the mad fisherman" who sat there just like that through the whole storm, and believe me when i say it rained boy i don't know how he didn't get washed off those rocks
There is something tragic about this, Tim.
tim hitchins: hmmm i can see how you think that Victor, does seem rather sad to see a lone figure perched on the end of some rocks with ominous clouds above. What you can not see is the fishing rod he is holding, dedication or obsession who knows
Most appreciated Victor.
This is breathtaking!
tim hitchins: Most appreciated Remi and have a nice day
Powerfully moody picture Tim.
tim hitchins: good morning Bill, and cheers matey enjoy your day
I have the irrisistible urge to run up and shout 'Boo' in his ears!
Am I bad! ha ha My eyes see contentment in this image. Peace and quite, and 'me' time away from the madness of daily life, noisy kids and bills. Time to contemplate, enjoy the sound of the sea, mother nature, and focus on the pleasure in life Let the coming rain soak me through, let me feel alive and invigorated. A fabulous image Tim, beautifully captured
tim hitchins: what a beautiful perspective Paul and one i can totally agree with, have a nice day Paul
That storm is getting ominously close, yet he is still steadfastly sitting there. That's what I call a dedicated fisherman! The light is amazing.
Ingrid
tim hitchins: oh yes Ingrid dedicated for sure, if you had seen the down pour we had not long after this was taken it was hard to believe he never budged and one slip and he was going to get seriously hurt, hope he caught a beauty
Gorgeous again! Wonderful dramatic sky and a magic light! I would like to be the person in the foreground, only viewing and contemplating and silence all around! "Tragic", what's your word, Viktor? The interpretation of a pic is always the reflection/mirror of the viewer's mood? I don't hope that!
tim hitchins: nope me neither Philine i will side with your perspective on this
Another view of that dramatic sky, Tim?
tim hitchins: yes it is Chad, the one before was taken a few minutes after this one just before the heavens opened. Enjoy your day Chad
you too Tim. Moody shot. Nice.
tim hitchins: cheers matey
I love the light in this.. I can imagine that this what Armageddon will look like!!
tim hitchins: it was a fantastic sight Alan, surrounded by mother nature and the elements is something i would love to be able to do more often for sure. Cheers Alan
Powerful image Tim.
tim hitchins: well thank you Ken
Beautiful light, I can see why he doesn't want to leave this place...
tim hitchins: well if you had seen the rain not long after m8 you might not think so lol, cheers Matey.
This is quite a special photo. Lovely light, storm clouds, rain falling out at sea, coming ever closer. And that man, just enjoying nature and hoping the disturbed sea will bring in extra fish to take his bait.
tim hitchins: what a lovely perspective on this Sheila, thank you so much
Always there when we need! I just hope that for the person on the rigth, the fishing was good! Maybe is it you ?
Very nice catch, Tim.
tim hitchins: ha cheers Fabrice and nope not me just the dedicated fisherman
Lovely capture, Tim. Helps to support the theory that fishing is a pastime for the clinically insane!
tim hitchins: lmao Dave
Fabulously moody and atmospheric shot. What a great composition and capture!
tim hitchins: well thank you so much Alex, have a nice day.
reflective in the eye of the storm. ominous.
richard
I really love the image, but not sure of I woudl be sitting on the rock with those clouds rolling in.
Excellent lighting and nicely composed
Gorgeous image Tim
Fisherman makes the shot!
moody sod! Lovely shot. mal
tim hitchins: lol sunshine was very hard to come by that weekend Mal, which has been so typical of this awful summer we have had and working out in it all day adds to the mood i find myself in most days lol
I would be in a trance sitting on that rock too - love the mood and detail of the bands of rain falling into the ocean.
