while out trying some cokin filters i got cheap..nd8 and a gradual gray..i thought i would try catch a bird in flight and this was the result, hard to judge as the filters make it dark but i was pleased with the result apart from the missing toes
great going on using your 350D as your paint brush & canvass!
That's pretty damn cool, Tim. A bit tight in terms of composition, though, but you can blame it on the dark filter.
This experiment seems to be working. In general I think it is a great picture and a direction with a lot of potential.
You can try different moving objects, birds, cars, planes, trains. I believe different backgrounds will also add to variety. In short go shoot some more moving (and some stationery) objects - they will have different backgrounds as it is - then post the ones you consider to be good.
Well done Tim. I love it!
I've got filters on my shopping list so I'll be interested to see your results...this is a pretty good start!
the effect is really interesting but as you say it is a shame you cut his feet off

Umm, I shouldn't really comment too much on this sort of picture because it isn't really my sort of picture. I'll just say I'd have liked the feet
Nicely done. Very abstract.
