well i can see Laura's shadow on the wall lol, a tunnel in the grounds of Fountains Abbey
I like this Photo. the light on the wall slowly getting less giving the curved, 3d look Very good
tim hitchins: cheers Vintage, really happy you like it
I like the composition and the light, but am unsure about the fuzzy figures in the shot.
tim hitchins: cheers Martin, just thought it worked better than the still shots of my daughter i took there
Excellent work, reminds me of some of Mal Smart's work of last year, without wanting to diminsh my admiration for the vcreativity in this shot, I like it a lot, great mood!!!
tim hitchins: thank you so much Patrick, really like Mals work and i love just trying different things out, sometimes they come off sometimes they don't but nothing ventured nothing gained so they say
Une ombre ... Cette photo résonne douloureusement en moi qui me sent tellement fantôme en ce moment ...
tim hitchins: well i will get back to you when i try to work out what you have said France
Great picture and presentation. It would have been top class if the walls of the tunnel were in sharp focus, with a blurred person and shadow. Light control is excellent.
tim hitchins: cheers Louis, yes wish i had taken my tripod with me, didn't know that this was here but i know now
This is a great idea, and it works so well presented in this way. (:o)
tim hitchins: cheers Rozalyn, just trying something different out
Tim, I am impressed by the atmosphere, the lighting is superb, love the framing, a likey to me, thanks for sharing!!
tim hitchins: well a big thanks Astrid really happy you liked it so much
Great atmosphere and lighting here Tim! I like the presentation.
tim hitchins: cheers Richard and have a good night
This is like something out of The Third Man! Rather spooky but good.
Ingrid
tim hitchins: will have to check that out Ingrid, no idea what the third man is, but cheers anyway
Excellent shot Tim. I think Ingrid has hit the nail..The third man..or woman in this case
tim hitchins: lol, yes try daughter
As night falls, Tim is out and about photographing intimidating places ;-)
Beautiful light here. The shadows on the wall balance the niche opening.
tim hitchins: lol, well what with full time work Kevin, its sometime's the only time i get to do owt
Excellent lighting and my word that is some delightfully rough stone work. richard
tim hitchins: cheers Richard, i rough yes makes you wonder how they lit the place up when building it, quite long and pitch black in the middle
Wow! Simply too cool. Very well done.
tim hitchins: most appreciated Pinto happy you thought that
Ow wow!! Ver yspooky.. has a great "Third Man" feel to this. Excellent!
tim hitchins: cheers Alan, will have to check this third man out
Gorgeous. I'd hang it on my wall.

Very well composed Tim
tim hitchins: cheers nig, would have liked to have had my tripod with me to get things sharper, but still happy with it
Love the colour and texture of the walls Tim.
tim hitchins: cheers Aussie, have a great weekend
I had also the imagination to be in the movie "The third man", the blue cool toning intensifies this impression of 'underworld'!
tim hitchins: thank you Philine, never seen or heard about this third man, but i have now
o wow! Great shot. Was the original like this or did you edit it? either way fab job. It could be the poster for a horror movie...
tim hitchins: cheers Funmi, just tweaked the levels a wee bit, really would like to be good at processing as i feel i could make this better, enjoy your weekend Funmi and thanks for the visit.
This is ghostly, but beautiful at the same time, Tim. I love your work with colors. (Does that make sense?)
tim hitchins: yes i think it does Kay, and thanks for the visit have a great weekend
A land of ghosts: this is a very interesting composition Tim
tim hitchins: cheers Chris
You don't know the Third Man - shame on you!!! Orson Welles film in B&W - brilliant cinematography and this could be a film still from it.

tim hitchins: cheers, just wish i had taken my tripod with us, i am sure i could have done better but still happy with this effort
